The events of Jinx Chapter 18 will be revealed as Jakeyung brought Kim Dan along for the medical examination. We eagerly anticipate how the relationship will develop after a really gratifying chapter. And the series that doesn’t hesitate to let its characters suffer is where that satisfaction comes from. One of the more significant events in the plot was when Jaekyung eventually asserted himself as the leader who would protect his weaker followers. Since he first appeared in the series, the mixed martial artist has a history of being obnoxious and callous. Yet, Kim Dan’s miserable life, in which he struggled with poverty and was targeted by loan sharks, received the majority of attention.

As Kim is still shaken from the altercation that had happened at his flat, the two will be seen spending some time alone. Jaekyung was also kind enough to cover Kim’s entire debt. But, the true challenge now begins because Kim is mentally weak. He is unable to make sense of what happened over the previous several hours. In another phase of Kim’s mental recovery, he will start to wonder what Jaekyung is thinking. He had harmed him, exploited him, given him a tender embrace, and then given him another. He will temporarily feel better and will ignore the ideas he has been thinking about. The two will then proceed to Jaekyung for the examination.

A brief backstory is given at the beginning of Jinx Chapter 17 to explain why Jaekyung chose to visit Kim’s apartment. He wanted to reschedule his appointment for a checkup because Kim Dan didn’t show up, as we saw in chapter sixteen. But his coach warned him that if he didn’t leave right away, he wouldn’t have time later.
Jaekyung was irritated as to why he had to leave right away and why he couldn’t wait to do so. He was booked for the following months, his coach retorted in the same irritated tone. Jaekyung was furious as he made his way to Kim’s apartment and questioned his absence. When he learned that Kim had been examining his health charts all night, he became even more irritated.
He was somewhat startled when he walked into Kim’s flat, but he kept a straight expression and invited Kim to accompany him. He did nothing when the loan sharks were enraged because of his intrusion. He was a professional athlete, therefore he had limited options for retaliation. He was fortunate in that the thugs were irritated with him more.
