In the starting of chapter, We Saw Endeavor finally comes to the realization that his son Toya, now known as Dabi, will never stop repeating his mistakes and hurting others. Endeavor blames himself for failing to take care of Toya and accepts the consequences of his actions. He decides that he will not let his son die alone and will not involve anyone else in his revenge. Holding Dabi, Endeavor uses his son’s flames to fly as high as possible, but the intense heat begins to cause him to lose consciousness. Just when all hope seems lost, Rei suddenly appears beside them and starts using her ice powers to help.
Meanwhile, Geten reflects on how quirks have become more complex with each passing generation, and users may not even be fully aware of the extent of their powers. He urges Compress to share his story as they have plenty of time. Cut to Endeavor and Dabi’s fight, where they have now moved 800 meters away from Gunga. As Endeavor hears news of Dabi’s impending explosion, he realizes that not only will civilians be affected, but also the heroes trying to contain Toga’s clones. Despite being exhausted and injured from his fight against AFO, Dabi charges towards Endeavor and shouts, “LOOK AT ME, DAD!!!” Endeavor remembers kid Toya saying, “look what I can do now!” while smiling, but what follows is a devastating fire punch.

However, perceptions of Shinso’s behavior vary among individuals, with some considering it villainous.
