MTG Changes Forever With Machine Set With Limited March:

Each MTG is a new limited format with the release of standard-legal sets, a space where players dive into the design of the set, from common rarity cards to mythic rares. Most limited decks contain a very small number of high-rarity cards, as booster packs only have a few slots for them. But all this is going to change.

According to WPN, the contents of both sealed and draft packs will change with the release of March of the Machines. All draft boosters for Phyrexia: All one will contain one rare or mythical rare and three unusual rarity cards. Machines are rare in March/ Both mythical and unusual slots are being increased.

  • Rare and/or Mythic Rare: One to two cards
  • Uncommon: Three to five
  • Common: Eight to nine
  • Land: One land

And according to WPN, 18 percent of prerelease packs in all prerelease packs will have a new mythic rare traditional foil, in addition to an existing slot of a rare or legendary rare that has a year-ticket and a traditional foil treat. The increase in high rarity slots within the draft booster will change the limited meta forever, as it increases the odds of pulling some of the most powerful cards in the MTG set. It can also change how players prioritize the pack pick.

The WPN release also revealed information about the march of the machine commander deck. Each will have “10 specialty cards and a foil-marked display commander”. Players can test the new MTG Limited Meta with prerelease from April 14. The March digital release of the machines is scheduled for April. 18.

After all, while there are countless suggestions about what might happen, we don’t know what will happen by 2023. The first clue will likely be given during the story of Phyrexia: All Be One, which will end on January 17, 2023. After that, unfortunately, players can wait until March of the machine’s first look live stream. Depending on how enigmatic the First Look livestream is, players can wait even longer!
