VALORANT freshly titled as G2 Gozen the first world champions of the VCT Game Changers scene two years after the start of the circuit. With the organization of Game Changers, Riot built its first circuit for marginalized genders all over its titles and did so in VALORANT, which only started in 2020.

With the development of VALORANT Game Changers, Riot suffered firsthand the likely that events for marginalized genders have. But these first two years of Game Changers were only the start as the ecosystem is about to broaden in 2023.

Product lead for Game Changers EMEA Ashley Washington shared some ideas on the development of Game Changers intended for establishing more chances for more amateur VALORANT gamers.

VALORANT gamers won’t have to stay long before discovering the fresh “more refined” edition of Game Changers in the EMEA region since Riot already declared the modifications that the new year will bring to Game Changers.

But while the esports ecosystem of VALORANT quickly introduced its own contest for marginalized genders, Riot’s other major game, League, has yet to take that action 13 years later. At the starting of November, Riot declared the release of a fresh women’s League tournament named “Rising Stars.” But the standalone tournament is still far from the huge ecosystem established in VALORANT in the past two years.
