The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Pro League is in full swing with the South Asia-Pacific (APAC) Regional Finals concluding yesterday. Moist Esports topped the Regional Finals leaderboard by 34 points to cement their spot in the knockouts. Despite being beaten by CS (now Team Valiant) in ranking points, Moist Esports went on a three-match winning streak in the final three games of the Finals. Moist Esports Top on ALGS Split 1 APAC South Regional Finals Leaderboard

Moist Esports took a strong step right from the group stage, winning Days 2 and 4. Entering the Regional Finals, the team won games third, fourth, and fifth, winning games. a total of 40 wins, 15 of them from the last game. This gives them a total of 25 points in the final standings, bringing their total ranking points to 125.

The top four teams from each region will qualify for the ALGS 2023 Split 1 playoff, including the fifth winner determined in the regional finals. So far, South American teams Singularity, GØDFIRE, NorCal Esports and K1CK. The first split of ALGS, which began on November 6th, will continue until December 18th. The top four teams in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), North America and APAC North are yet to be determined, with three game days remaining in most regions. They will join the APAC South and South American teams in the playoffs in February 2023. This year, ALGS is hosting a $5 million prize pool.
