Modern Warfare 2: What is Shoot House in the game?

With the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a classic map from Modern Warfare 2019 made a comeback. A new playlist has also made its way to the game. Shoot House received some upgrades in MW2, as it tweaked some parts of the map and gave everything a new look and textures to match the standards of the latest entry in the franchise.

Shoot House is a map that comprises three distinct lanes. Besides, it is also one of the smallest maps to embrace the latest game. Shoot House maps offers something to everyone, be it a junkyard full of broken-down cars or debris of buildings.

Shoot House Explained

The map has the perfect setting for snipers, who can take down enemies by hiding in places down mid. Moreover, there are several corners where players can camp along with several empty spaces for submachine gun and assault rifle players.

Along with the new map, the developers pushed a new mode too. At the starting screen for multiplayer, players will be able to see an option “Shoot House” as a game mode. This could be confusing for some players since Shoot House is just a map. But this mode also offers a 24/7 playlist of just Shoot House.

The playlist is an infinite cycle of the map and players will be able to go through the different modes to play with. These modes include Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, or Headquarters, however, Headquarters comes across the mode that is usually randomly selected.

Shoot House 24/7 is not just a small to run around gunning down enemies but is a great way to grind out weapon mastery camos. Players can do all the weapon camos from point blanks t long shots using all the weapons in the mix. Since the map is so small, it will be easy for players to into a player’s line of sight rather than waiting for them to come face to face like on larger maps.

What is Modern Warfare 2 Raids mode?

Raids is also a mode that has been added to this year’s Call of Duty. Activision said this about the new mode: “A whole new experience for the franchise, Raids will be coming later this year after launch. Raids will be 3v3 and focus on team communication and coordination like never before.”

Details might not be revealed completely as of now, so it’s difficult to say if Raids will be similar to the 3v3 Team Tactical mode seen previously, or if it will something new to the table.
