Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has become an instant hit for gamers. But many players are wondering what Battle Rage means in the game. Battle Rage is a Field Upgrade that offers players aggressive playstyles.

Usually, running directly into an opponent, regardless of the situation, mostly results in another respawn screen. With Battle Rage enabled, players can barge into enemy lines with boosted resistance and health regeneration.

While the Battle Rage can be a great tool for players who wish to chase down enemies and potentially take them by surprise, it doesn’t mean players can act invincible. For players wondering if they should add Battle Rage to their arsenal in Modern Warfare 2, here’s everything they should know.

What does Battle Rage do in MW2?

It is basically an active Field Upgrade in the game that players are required to trigger manually. Players will notice a change in their HUD after they activate Battle Rage, showing that the Field Upgrade is in effect.

Battle Rage provides players with an increase in HP regeneration, resistance to tactical equipment, and “constantly refreshed” tactical spring for a brief period. If all these effects are active in the game, players will be able to chase down enemies more efficiently without worrying about the opponent’s gunfire.

How long does Battle Rage last?

Battler Rage can only be activated for around 20 to 25 seconds maximum, enabling players a brief amount of time to take on enemies in this heightened state. This Field Upgrade comes in very handy is situations where players would like to either push enemies or trying to escape from dangerous areas in the game. Once the Battle Rage is gone, players become vulnerable to all kinds of damage again and can get affected by flash and stun grenades.

Players should note that players can still die in the game while Battle Rage is active. Though players will enjoy several boosts to all kinds of resistance, enough gunfire can still take down the player.

While players will still be able to take more damage than usual when Battle Rage is active while running toward direct gunfire, they will eventually perish even if the Field Upgrade hasn’t worn off. If players want to get the most out of Battle Rage, they should use this Field Upgrade strategically and should know the map in and out. That’s all players should know about Battle Rage in Modern Warfare 2.
