With Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 is going great, gamers are already waiting for Season 2 and new content to arrive. Now, fresh leaks may have just provided us a glimpse at what to expect, having a new map and Operator. Modern Warfare 2 Season 2: release date and content.

A separate leak looks to show Warzone 2.0’s new Resurgence map is designed to be a shorter battleground for rapid gameplay. We can also expect a Castle map and Ronin Operator reportedly arriving in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is said to arrive on February 1, when the Season 1 Battle Pass finishes.
The leaks say about the return of the Castle map, which first arrived in 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War and made an appearance in last year’s Vanguard. Prior versions of the map place it at Shuri Castle in Okinawa, Japan, with gamers duking it out in the castle and courtyard.
The traditional Japanese architecture departs from the desert locales and stony fortresses of most of the game’s maps, such as Taraq and Al Bagra Fortress. A second key art banner also shows the Operator Ronin, who was there in 2019’s Modern Warfare.
The Operator is wielding a Samurai-Esque sword, to coordinate with the Japanese theme of the season. Also, a leak of what is says Warzone 2.0’s new Resurgence map displays the names of numerous points of interest, with a spot named Castle sitting right in the middle. This later supports Castle’s comeback, seeing as how battle royale map Al Mazrah already uses existing multiplayer maps for various POIs.
