Modern Warfare 2 Guide: Underwater Combat Mechanics

How the water in the game works has changed by many folds in the recent few updates of the Warzone and Modern Warfare 2. We can now experienec water in a more natural sense, in terms of the rapid currents, and waves that can also be seen. Not just that, the in-game water can also be of various kinds– clean, polluted, et al.

What has remained constant is that the players can swim in the water if the water is deep enough for the players to immerse in it. If players want to go deeper, they can simply change the operator’s stance, look down, and sprint.

Because you won’t have access to your primary weapon option while in the water, you will only be able to fire foes with a few of weapons, like a handgun. Players can also use the water to their advantage by diving underneath it to evade opponent strikes. Players must lead their shots to be more precise underwater since the density of the water impacts the weapon’s projectile. To locate submerged caches, you can also swim underwater.

Since the same engine was used to create both Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, gamers may anticipate seeing the new water dynamics in both games. Therefore, regardless of the game you start up, learning the new mechanics will offer you an advantage.
