Minecraft has provided an update on their new Caves and Cliff section of the game. The Caves and Cliff update will be released in two parts. The first part was released in June 2021. The second part of Minecraft Cave and Cliff will release by the end of the year. The Caves and Cliff update in Minecraft have given an enhanced feel to the game, with many users appreciating the new updates. There is a very logical reason as to why the latest update of Caves and Cliffs is released in two parts. It has to do with the coronavirus pandemic.
The main reason for this update releasing in two parts is due to the coronavirus pandemic. The first (1.17) was released on June 8th, 2021, and the second (1.18) will be released later this year. According to the help section in Minecraft, the reason was explained clearly. “(This is) the result of taking on our most ambitious update to date while our team also continues to navigate the challenges of working remotely. By giving our development team some extra time, they will be able to deliver an array of exciting features without compromising on quality, reliability, or functionality for players,” the section said.
The first part of Caves and Cliffs focused on some fun mobs, cool items, and new blocks. The second part will be on world generation. This includes increasing world height, adding dramatic mountains and caves, and exciting new biomes. Biomes are a large naturally occurring community of flora and fauna occupying a major habitat. The prime example of this is a forest. So, users and gamers might be able to create more forests in addition to all other natural elements.
Until the official update is released, it is difficult but it can be played. Caves & Cliffs Part II are currently available. This is available in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Through the Experimental Features toggle and in Beta by default when creating a new world, Caves and Cliffs second part can be played in a better way. There is also Minecraft Java Edition where the players can have the experience of the second Caves and Cliffs update. However, the final version will see some alterations and changes.
As per the Minecraft official website, new world generation in Caves & Cliffs Part II is currently incompatible. If one has to create a custom biome, it will not be possible in this. Custom biomes will only exist in saved areas of the world. Unsaved areas will see new Caves & Cliffs world generation. It is like starting all over again in the new update.
