Kelvin the summoner will be back in Kuro No Shoukanshi Chapter 118 which is just around the corner. The last section was of the narrative type, informing us that Ange had been defeated by Kelvin. On the other hand, Ange did not feel any regret at Kelvin’s departure. When she finally lost to him, she was relieved. Ange revealed to Kelvin that she is part of a group called God’s apostle and that she has been tasked with keeping a watch on Melfina. But she was unable to accomplish that.
Once Ange revealed that their antagonist is the shrine maiden and the hero, Flora, the pace of the tale in Kuro No Shoukanshi picked up considerably. More information about Flora and the shining maiden will be revealed in the future chapter. After the new foes are vilified in Chapter 117, readers are eager to move on to the next installment.

At the beginning of this chapter, Sera and Survivor emerge from the woods. When asked whether or whether the assassin was still alive, Sera informed Survivor that the Shinigami had dispatched her. Survivor told Sera that he was the most youthful of the Apostles and that he had missed the previous order granting the Apostles’ request; but, if they fail in their mission, they must return the skill that had been given to them. Sera was questioned by Survivor, who pointed out that if the assassin was still alive, it would only make their situation more precarious.

Sera warned him that she would bear the consequences if she survived. Survivor warned her that it would be tough if she did not confirm Melina’s death because her slaves were powerful. Since he and Melfina are roughly the same age and frequently collaborate on projects, Survivor assures Sera that he fully appreciates the closeness of their friendship. If Sera was her buddy, he wanted to know. Sera assured him that they were not particularly close and certainly not buddies.
He agreed to do it because Survivor said she wanted to help, but Sera ended up discovering her murderer while investigating. Such occurrences are not uncommon. He assured her she had no reason to feel guilty because it wasn’t as if she’d left her boyfriend to be with him. He reassured Sera that she had done the right thing with her friend. Ange awakens in Kelvin’s home later. It was a relief for Ange to lose. Kelvin probed for details on her strategy.
