In this chapter, the intense exchange between Gojo Satoru and Sukuna escalates as they engage in their second round of combat. The previous chapter begins with Ijichi’s inquisitive gaze fixed upon Gojo, questioning him about his experience in the Prison Realm. Gojo responds, drawing a parallel between the time lapse he experienced and being deeply engrossed in work. It felt as though a week had swiftly slipped by, yet the duration felt so interminable that he harbored no desire to endure it again. Intrigued about the aftermath of his utilization of Unlimited Void during the Shibuya incident, Gojo turns to Ijichi for information regarding the individuals affected. Ijichi provides reassurance, assuring him that all those affected have since recovered. As Gojo ascends to the apex of a towering edifice, he proclaims, “Let’s commence, Utahime, Grandpa.”
The scene seamlessly transitions to Sukuna, where Uraume relays uncertain details to him about the time and location of their impending clash. Sukuna dismisses the necessity of such specifics, sensing an overpowering aura of malevolence emanating from a distant structure.

A flashback ensues, with Gakuganji solemnly informing Gojo of his heinous act—Yaga’s demise. Astonishingly, Gojo responds with a nonchalant “Okay.” Grandpa queries the lack of animosity directed towards Gojo for his actions, to which Gojo admits that he bears no qualms, shouldering responsibility for his own sealing and the manipulation imposed by the higher-ups upon Grandpa. Overhearing their exchange, Panda becomes privy to their conversation as Gojo inquires about Yaga’s final words.
Grandpa discloses Yaga’s revelation concerning the creation of Cursed corpses, prompting Gojo to remark, “It seems you’ve changed, Grandpa,” acknowledging Grandpa’s decision to refrain from reporting it to the superiors. The subsequent page unveils a shocking revelation the annihilation of all the higher-ups. Enclosed within a speech bubble, Gojo suggests that things may improve with Grandpa assuming leadership. It appears that Gojo has single-handedly eradicated the higher-ups! Upon concluding his discussion with Grandpa, Gojo departs, leaving Ijichi perplexed as to why Gojo sought his aid.
Gojo elucidates, “Don’t you see? You’re the person I trust the most.” The flashback concludes, and the narrative returns to the present. Ijichi stands steadfastly behind Gojo, erecting a formidable barrier. Immersed in melancholic contemplation, Ijichi reflects upon his own perceived shortcomings, viewing himself as one who evaded challenges but lacked the courage to truly escape. Nevertheless, he finds solace in the unwavering belief the Strongest places in him. There is no conceivable way he could fall short of fulfilling that expectation.
Meanwhile, Utahime performs a ritualistic dance known as “Solo Solo Kinku.” Her Cursed Technique amplifies the total output of Cursed Energy for both herself and her fellow sorcerers. The skill of sorcerers lies in their ability to efficiently omit the requisite steps for utilizing their Cursed Techniques. However, both Gojo and Utahime, alongside Ijichi and Grandpa, meticulously execute every necessary gesture and chant, activating their Cursed Techniques.
These events culminate in a climactic moment as Gojo unleashes a 200% augmented “Hollow Purple” attack towards Sukuna! Overwhelmed, Sukuna endeavors to withstand the intensified assault, resulting in the utter annihilation of every edifice in its path. The narrator explains that Sukuna misconstrued Gojo’s actions due to Ijichi’s barrier formation. Although Sukuna sensed the presence, he failed to anticipate the monumental surge of Cursed Energy until the final instant.
