JONATHAN, MortaL and Goblin are Nominated for The MOBIES 2023 Awards from India

The MOBIES 2023 Awards have recently announced their nominees for different categories, including some of the biggest gaming streamers, content creators, and mobile esports athletes from India. Among them, Naman “MortaL” Sandeep Mathur and Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral have been nominated under the ‘Mobile Content Creator of the Year’ category. Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal, one of the highest-rated mobile gaming athletes, has been nominated for ‘Mobile Player of the Year’. The MOBIES have a total of 11 categories for which awards will be given in the inaugural season. JONATHAN, MortaL and Goblin are Nominated for The MOBIES 2023 Awards from India.

Launch of The MOBIES

The MOBIES, also known as The Mobile Awards, are dedicated to recognizing and celebrating excellence in the mobile gaming industry, including games, players, creators, developers, media, and more. The announcement of the inaugural ceremony was made on the eve of The Esports Awards, which was held on 13th December 2022. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on 14th July in Los Angeles, California, to acknowledge the innovation and outstanding performances from the world of mobile gaming.

Nominations and Voting

Fans can vote for their favourite finalists until 30th June by visiting the official MOBIES website or clicking here. The categories cover different aspects of mobile gaming, including Mobile Game of the Year, Mobile Developer of the Year, Mobile Esports Game of the Year, and more.

Goblin – Mobile Player of the Year

Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal is one of six mobile players nominated for ‘Mobile Player of the Year’ across various titles. 

The other nominees include:

  1. Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales (MLBB) 
  2. Mohamed “Mohamed Light” Tarek (Clash Royale) 
  3. Tensai (Brawl Stars) 
  4. Burenbayar “TOP” Altangerel (PUBG Mobile) 
  5. Ratchanon “Moshi” Kunrayason (Free Fire)

Goblin, who previously competed in PUBG Mobile, gained prominence after shifting to BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) and is now part of Team SouL, one of India’s most successful mobile gaming organizations.

JONATHAN, MortaL – Mobile Content Creator of the Year

The ‘Mobile Content Creator of the Year’ category has seven nominees from different titles, including JONATHAN and MortaL.

The other nominees in this category are:

  1. Andrew “Judo Sloth” (Clash of Clans)
  2. Brahim “Levinho” (PUBG Mobile)
  3. Luke “iFerg” Fergie (COD Mobile)
  4. Tobias “Panda” Näslund (PUBG Mobile)
  5. The Radioativo (Free Fire)

JONATHAN, a creator and a member of GodLike Esports, is one of the best mobile battle royale players from India, with over 5 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.1 million followers on Instagram. MortaL is considered the pioneer of mobile gaming in India and the founder of S8UL Esports, one of India’s largest esports organizations. He has a massive following on social media, including over 5.3 million on Instagram, 412,500 on Twitter, and 6.9 million on YouTube.
