Audio brand JBL has announced this year’s edition of the JBL Quantum Cup, an esports tournament that will take place at Dream Hack Atlanta, Dream Hack Winter and Dream Hack Valencia. ESL FACEIT Group has also appointed JBL as the official gaming headset provider for Dream Hack events for all esports community. The JBL Quantum Cup will feature competitions in both Fortnite and Apex Legends and will have a total prize pool of $200,000 (£170,000). In this annual tournament series is named after JBL’s gaming product line JBL Quantum in Dream Hack event.This is the third edition of the JBL Quantum Cup, and the first to be held in multiple events in person and online. It is also the second edition to host both the Apex Legends and Fortnite tournaments, with the former being added in 2021. The 2022 edition of the Quantum Cup will host meets and greets with eSports players at Dream Hack events, as well as a dedicated content creation hub jointly created by ESL FACEIT Group and JBL.

The two companies did not share any further details about the activism, but announced that 100 Thieves member Brooke Abbey and Nicewig will be hosting watch parties for the tournament.The tournament is the first time JBL has teamed up with Dream hack for the Quantum Cup, and the move to open the initial two qualifier tournaments to individual competitors rather than the final competition is an interesting one.Qualifying events, which can be played either online or in person, take place during Dream Hack Atlanta in Georgia, US on November 18-20 and Dream Hack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden on November 24-27.

The finals will then be streamed live throughout Dream Hack Valencia from 9-11 December.
