No, Krampus will not be coming back to Warzone 2. This was announced in the Season One: Reloaded blog post that Activision posted on December 9, 2022. In the blog post, Activision briefly spoke about the holiday event schedule for Modern Warfare 2.
Now, it’s official that Krampus will not be returning to Modern Warfare 2. But what about Warzone 2? Last time, Krampus occurred in both Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone. Going by this assumption, it is logical to say that Warzone 2 alone could bring the mythical character Krampus.
The greatest comical aspect is that gamers on Reddit and other social forums and platforms already believe a holiday event will arrive. As stated in one of our articles, some gamers have already begun making up cases on what can occur during the holiday event.
“They could just make it dusky and snowing over Al Mazrah, and that would be enough,” says a user on Reddit. “None of this cartoon arcade stuff pleases, so far it’s been fairly military aesthetic, and I hope it stays that way.”
At this moment, we could get a festive visual overhaul as well as some challenges and rewards. As spoken of before, the comeback of Krampus is unlikely after Activision’s statement.
