Indian Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Tekken 7 and eFootball teams have qualified for the World Esports Championship 2022. The teams will now advance to the group stage of the championship and compete for a slot in the final.The 14th World Esports Championship of the International Esports Federation (IESF) will begin on December 1 and end on December 14. It is going to happen in Bali, Indonesia. The championship includes sex different game titles and players from over 120 countries. India Qualifies For CS:GO, Tekken 7, And eFootball In The World Esports Championship 2022 :

Following are the all six titles to be played at the 14th World Esports Championship In India:

  • Tekken 7
  • CS:GO
  • eFootball
  • Dota 2
  • PUBG Mobile
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be featured in the World Esports Championship for the first time.

Indian teams qualify for three titles at the World Esports Championship 2022 :

CS:GO

Team India is one of the 32 teams that have qualified for CS: GO. Team India has secured a slot in Group C of the championship and will compete against teams from Tajikistan, Chile and IESF in the group stage.

The CS:GO roster of Team Indian includes the following players:

  • Anshul “KiiLSwitCh” Adarkar
  • Ritesh “Defaulter” Sarda
  • Shuvajyoti “Mcg1LLzZz” Chakraborty
  • Harsh “lynX” Jain
  • Hrishikesh “Crazy_Gamer” Shenoy

The India Team CS:GO Group Stage match Schedule :

  • India vs Tajikistan – 2nd December 2022 at 10:40 am
  • India vs IESF – 2nd December 2022 at 5:20 pm
  • India vs Chile – 3rd December 2022 at 2:00 pm

The matches will be played in the best-of-one (BO1) format and two teams from each group in the group stage will qualify for the playoffs.

Tekken 7

Hitesh “Rakool” Khorwal will represent India in Tekken 7 at the 14th World Esports Championship. Arkul has been placed in Group E and will play against Pakistan, Bahamas, Venezuela and Palestine.

  • India vs Bahamas – 3rd December 2022 at 6:00 pm
  • India vs Pakistan – 3rd December 2022 at 8:40 pm
  • India vs Venezuela- 4th December 2022 at 9:40 am
  • India vs Palestine – 4th December 2022 at 11:00 am

Note: Image shows USA as the fifth team in Group E. That’s an error. The fifth team is Palestine.The matches will be played in the best-of-one format and the top two players from each group will qualify for the playoff stage.

eFootball

Hemant “Peshmak7” Komu will represent India in e-football at the 14th World Esports Championship. They have secured a place in Group P and will fight against Kazakhstan, Armenia and Guinea.

The India Team eFootball Group Stage match Schedule :

  • India vs Guinea – 3rd December 2022 at 12:00 pm
  • India vs Armenia – 4th December 2022 at 4:20 pm
  • India vs Kazakhstan – 4th December 2022 at 6:20 pm

With the group stage of the championship starting in four days, all the teams are set to conquer the battlefield and earn a place in the main event of the championship. It will be exciting to see how the Indian teams fare in all the titles.
