Are you bored of your Volarant display name? Then why not get rid of it for a new one? Last year, Riot Games moved from being only known for League of Legends to being a publisher of multiple popular games. The company launched Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics.
This led to the developer changing its username and account system and implementing major changes. Rather than a separate account for each game, the developer switched to “Riot accounts.” This universal account is all a player requires to sign in to any Riot’s title, including Valorant.
The name-changing method for Valorant isn’t similar to other games such as League of Legends. You don’t have to shell out in-game currency to change your name in Valorant. The process is completely free of cost.
To change the display name, all a player has to do is close the Valorant client (if it’s open), log in to their Riot account from browser, navigate to the Riot ID tab at the top of the page, type in your name, and click save changes.
Players can also change their tagline, which can be found at the end of their name. It includes a hashtag and a set of numbers or letters. This is the same as the clan tag in League of Legends. With the help of this method, players will be able to change their name and tagline once every 30 days.
Speaking of the game, Valorant currently offers seven different maps for players to try their battle skills on. Each map is set in a different place on Future Earth and comes with different layouts and many other features. Valorant players will need a few things before they move forward to experience the game, one of them is maps for them to jump into and battle other players.
If you haven’t tried Valorant yet, this might be the right time for you to put your gaming skills to a test. If you are a fan of battle royale games, this might be the right pick for you.
