The Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland event is here with tons of new cosmetics, including Spray, and the Ice Queen Brigitte skin that can be earned by completing challenges. One of the challenges involves catching a snowball in one of the new limited-time game-modes. How to Catch Snowballs in Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland :

The ‘Caught a Cold’ event challenge requires players to catch 6 snowballs in a snowball deathmatch. To do this, you’ll need to be playing Snowball Deathmatch and use your grapple key to catch the snowball projectile before it hits. By default this is the ‘V’ key on PC. If you use the grapple key in time, Mei will grab the snowballs that come your way.If you manage to catch 6 snowballs, you will have completed the ‘Cold a Cold’ challenge. This will give you the Junker Queen Ornament Spray and 1,500 Battle Pass XP and get you closer to earning the Ice Queen Brigitte skin.

You’ll find the Snowball Deathmatch game modes by navigating to Arcade and Winter Brawls. Here you’ll find Snowball Deathmatch, which pits up to 8 players against each other in free-for-all. Snowball Deathmatch is played at Ecopoint: Antarctica or the Black Forest. The first player to earn 15 kills wins.

The other new skin is the Ice Angel Echo skin, which of course nicely turns Echo into an Ice Angel with massive blue wings and a yellow star on top of her head. Along with these two skins, a variety of older Winter Wonderland skins will also be available in the shop during the event. The shop rotates every Tuesday, so check back to see which skins are available for purchase.

You can get the Ice Queen Brigitte skin by completing the Season’s Greetings Challenge at the event. You have to complete any of the six challenges that are part of the event to earn the skin. Some of these challenges have personal rewards attached to them. Completing Warmhearted gives players the Kiriko Ornament Spray. Similarly, completing Caught a Cold, Abominable, and Block of Ice earns players Junker Queen, Ramatra, and Sojourn Ornament Spray, respectively.
