Halo TV series is coming to Paramount+ and the platform has released the much-awaited trailer.

Halo TV series is coming to Paramount+ and the platform has released the much-awaited trailer, along with officially confirming the release date. Based on the popular FPS shooter franchise of Xbox, the TV series has been in development for quite some time.

Set in a dystopian 26th-century world, where an intergalactic war between humanity and the Covenant is going on, the series shows John 117, popularly known as Master Chief, a Spartan soldier who is trained for war. The trailer shows many recognizable characters, including Cortana and Dr. Halsey, alongside the lead character.

Halo has been a flagship game on the Xbox as well as a pathfinder for FPS games on the console. The series is witnessing a resurgence in popularity, because of the latest iteration dubbed Halo Infinite. Now, with the Halo series, the franchise could see new fans as well as deliver on promises made by series veterans, who have been associated with the series ever since it came out.

The series will pack 10 episodes and will be streamed on paramount+, starting March 24, 2022. The trailer shows Master Chief going against two energy sword-wielding elites, and iconic weaponry and vehicles from the series including MA40 assault rifle, S7 sniper, and the Covenant dropship.

The trailer further reveals about the lead character Master Chief: “He is lethal. Upgradable, and most importantly, controllable.”

At the end of the trailer, Cortanta is also introduced and is yet again voiced by Jen Taylor, reprising her role from the video game series. To set up this series, the trailer manages to balance narration and action. The trailer has got Halo fans hyped up for the series when it comes out on March 24, 2022.
