A three-part series of Gundam Build Metaverse is scheduled to premiere in October and will be available for streaming on the official YouTube channels of the Gundam franchise and Gundam.info.

As part of the “Gundam Next Future -Road to 2025-” project celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, the series is one of three components. The “Dream Battle Project” centers around the concept of a dream competition that can only take place in the Metaverse, as depicted in the image below.

In beta testing during October, the “Gunpla Colony” will open, providing a virtual space for Gundam enthusiasts worldwide to gather and explore content and purchase Gundam model kits.

Additionally, during the same month, the “Gundam Next Future 2023 East/West/Digital” events will be hosted in Tokyo, Osaka, and online, along with the first XR Live event for the Gundam Metaverse. The Gundam Navi news app will also receive an update to include functionality for the Gundam Metaverse, including a “Gunpla Scan” feature that allows users to scan their Gunpla models and bring them into the virtual space.
