Several GTA Online players complained about the frustrating god mode taxi work mission glitch. The developers have finally fixed the issue with a patch, alongside fixing several other GTA Online glitches.

GTA Online players have been complaining about a game-breaking bug that has made playing in public lobbies an impossible task. These “god mode” glitches aren’t new to GTA Online, as they allow players who make use of these glitches to become unstoppable and sometimes get impossible abilities, such as being able to fly or never running out of ammo.

The latest god mode glitch has plagued the new Taxi Work update, which gives players to power to earn some extra cash as one of Los Santos’ several cabbies. Thankfully, Rockstar developers have fixed the issues with a patch.

Update for GTA Online fixes taxi god mode and other bugs:

GTA insider Tez2 recently shared a hotfix that had been released for GTA Online by the developers. The hotfix aims to fix five glitches, including the “Taxi God Mode” glitch. The hotfix also patched a workaround where players could avoid the cooldown on the missions that Dax and Yohan offer to the players.

This glitch lets players merge two cars in the auto shop while another one enables them to get through the Cayo Perico heist with the help of wallhacks. This is a glitch that let players skip the preparation stage of the Doomsday heist.

While players are excited to see the glitches like god mode patched out, some might be upset either because they are losing a way for them to make money through missions quickly, or because there are bigger issues that still require fixing.

“Of course. Had to patch harmless glitches first, right,” one player replied to Tez2’s tweet. “[B]etter late than never I suppose, now we wait for all the others,” another commented. While these big fixes might help fans looking to do away with gods running their public sessions, there are still a lot of hackers out there who will be upset with Rockstar’s decision to patch the issues.

GTA 6 emotionally affected developers, says CEO:

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has made some comments about the historic GTA 6 leaks that happened last year. He said these leaks were emotionally challenging for the developers having their work leak before intended.

Speaking to IGN before Take-Two’s latest earnings release, CEO Strauss Zelnick was questioned about 2022’s GTA leaks. The leak spilled details about early gameplay, revealing new protagonists, combat systems, and the potential location where the game will be set.

The leaked footage went viral as Rockstar was involved in one of the biggest leaks seen in the gaming industry. Zelnick recently commented that it was a very disappointing situation despite the leaks not affecting Take-Two’s earnings.
