New listing might bring good news for GTA 6 fans

According to an article by Gamerant, a recent job listing for a voiceover director on Rockstar’s website has given fans hope that the game’s script has been finished and that the highly anticipated game is nearing completion.

“Rockstar is looking for an experienced Director with a track record of crafting compelling performances for theater, TV, or film to join us in making groundbreaking video games,” the listing reads.

The job will include, “[directing] VO sessions ranging from main story content to NPC’s and exertions” and “maintaining the nuance and continuity of the game’s narrative.”

The recently posted job opening on Rockstar’s website for a voiceover director entails providing assistance for motion capture and requires international travel to supervise VO sessions, which has led to speculation that the script for GTA 6 has been finished. However, it is important to note that this position may not necessarily be related to GTA 6 and could instead be related to another game such as GTA Online.

Should fans really get excited about the job listings?

According to rumors of Rockstar’s plan to release GTA 6 in multiple parts, it’s uncertain if the recently posted job listing is related to the upcoming game, as it could also be for future content or the next iteration of GTA Online. Nonetheless, the job requires directing voiceover sessions and supporting motion capture, including travel to different countries.

Regardless, fans of the franchise can only hope that they won’t have to wait much longer for an official announcement or trailer of GTA 6, which is rumored to be released in 2024.
