GTA fans have been surprised by a clip from GTA 6 leak that they might have missed during the massive leak last year. The video shows the first GTA Online details in the upcoming game.

In September 2022, GTA fans witnessed a historic leak that shook the gaming industry. The leaked in-development footage showed the first bits of gameplay from GTA 6’s pre-alpha build was leaked online. The leaks confirmed several claims from insiders about a female protagonist and the franchise’s return to Vice City.

Around 90 clips were leaked then, and while fans saw most of them, Rockstar quickly shut them down and issued DMCA takedowns. The company also said that the leaks wouldn’t affect the development of the game, but Take-Two noted that the developers were affected emotionally by their work getting leaked.

With anticipation around the game building up again, these clips have started resurfacing on social media, including a few that many fans seemed to have missed the first time. A clip briefly shows GTA 6’s Online mode, as there is a reference to the number of players in one server.

The clip shows a player having another player on their shoulders, while the text at the bottom of the screen reads “PL:2/32,” which could reference the player count for the server.

The clip was actually referenced by Rockstar insider TezFun back in November, who noted that the next installment of the game would have 30-player lobbies. Besides, there will be additional two spaces for spectators.

It would match the maximum limit for lobbies in the current version of GTA Online. But if the map is bigger than GTA 5, fans would be happy to know that they will have more peace from griefers.

GTA 5’s Dr. Friedlander returning in GTA 6?

Players who have played the final set of missions for Dax and The Troupe in the Los Santos Drug Wars, will spot Dr. Friedlander from the main story. He’s Michael’s therapist, who players get the option to kill in the game.

Even if players kill the character, he somehow survived to make it into the new update. Some players believe it could have links to GTA 6 given the much-talked-about codename of ‘Project Americas’ and supposed links to the drug trade that is said to be a major part of the story.

“Since he survived, it’s a very real possibility we see him return in GTA 6,” Gaming Detective said. Some fans were quick to voice their disappointment, given they aren’t a fan of the character.

“I’m not fond of Dr. Friedlander turning from “crap therapist” into some kind of “drug lord,” one user said. “God he is so boring, I hope Rockstar moves on from him,” wrote another.
