There are some fun sorceries that players can try out in Elden Ring. While most of them might not come in handy during combat, some are pretty cool and have great attack animations for players to see.
One such sorcery in the game is the Glintstone Icecrag, which needs 15 Intelligence to use. The spell can be great if used from close-to-mid range mark and lets the Tarnished throw a cold mass made of glintstone at opponents.
The projectile deals a lot of damage and scales extremely well with Intelligence. Besides, it also builds up the Frostbite status effect on opponents, where they will inflict 20% more damage and their recovery speed will be slowed down.
The spell comes in handy for both PvE and PvP, and can make some hard encounters pretty easy.
It is something that players won’t come across early on in the game, and will first have to invest some time in progressing the game’s narrative.
Players can receive this item from Preceptor Seluvis at Seluvis’ Rise in Liurnia of the Lakes, and the Tarnished needs to start Ranni, the Witch’s quest, and invest a good amount of time to finish it before getting the sorcery becomes an option.

Players should make their way to Caria Manor. They will be required to meet Ranni, the Witch in Ranni’s Rise, and start her quest which will take players to Redmane Castle in Caelid to take down Radahn, the Starscourge.
Players will be asked by the sorcerer to deliver a potion to Nepheli Loux, the only task that the NPC will provide players with before making his shop available to them. However, the players aren’t required to deliver it to Nepheli Loux to complete the quest.
Players have the option to go to the Roundtable Hold and give her with the potion, or speak with Gideon Ofnir. They can also just keep to the late game point, and provide it to the Dung Eater.
After choosing their option and going back to Seluvis, players will see that the quest has finished automatically. He will then let players access his shop and purchase the Glintstone Icecrag from him for 7,500 runes.
