Genshin Impact will most likely be released on February 15, 2022, with Yae Miko making her debut in the first banner. The release date aligns with what miHoYo official announced regarding Zhongli and Ganyu’s reruns, spanning from January 25, 2022, to February 15, 2022. Those two reruns are the last in the 2.4 update, marking the beginning of the 2.5 update.
Yae Miko is confirmed to make her debut in the game. The remaining 5-star characters haven’t been confirmed yet, but some prominent leakers have suggested that the Raiden Shogun will have a rerun by then.
If Yae Miko makes her debut on the first banner of Genshin Impact 2.5, it would mean her release date would be close to the launch of Feb 15. No 4-star characters have been leaked as of now, and it’s currently unknown if there will be another rerun happening alongside Yae Miko’s banner.
Yae Miko is said to be a 5-star Electro Catalyst, with all her abilities being revealed already. Like many new characters, she already has a leaked 5-star weapon to go alongside her banner. Yae Miko’s Elemental Skill features three charges, which enable her to reach this weapon’s max stacks more efficiently than other Catalyst users.

Some old leaks have suggested that the Raiden Shogun would get a rerun in the next update. The main reason why some players think this to be the case is that she will get more screen time in the next update, which is a sign that 5-star characters will get reruns. Many leaks reveal the weekly boss variation of the Raiden Shogun.
Apart from the Raiden Shogun rerun, there are some leaks on Kazuha returning in the game. He will get more focus within some storyline in that update, although how it will happen is yet to be specified. Some fans might remember previous leaks that stated that his rerun would occur in either the 2.5 or 2.6 updates.
