After being under the dark for a few weeks about the Genshin Impact 2.7 update, players actually have some news about when it will get released. With that, the process of getting leaks about the update that is going to follow have also started to come out. Shikanoin Heizou, who was announced on Genshin Impact’s official Twitter, may be a new character in Version 2.8. He is a Tenryou Commission Detective with a wild imagination and a free spirit. The attack style, Fudou Style Martial Arts, gives Heizou the ability to perform up to five fisticuffs empowered by the wind, according to Reddit leaks. All of his offensive strategies, including his Charged and Plunging Attacks, deal Anemo Damage to his opponents. Heizou’s Elemental Skill, Heartstopper Strike, uses the power of the wind quickly, and holding to charge it produces the Declension effect.
While there are numerous other details about Shikanoin Heizou Banner, these are still rumours and will not be confirmed until the release. The character who may join Heizou is said to be a rerun of the character Kaedehara Kazuha, as previously mentioned on Twitter.

According to a Twitter leak, A Summer Sea Sojourn will be the main event in Version 2.8. Fischl, Oz, Kazuha, Mona, and others are said to be attending these unknown festivities. According to Reddit, new challenges such as the Surfpiercer Challenge and the Reminiscent Regimen Challenge may be included in this event. The summer theme for Surfpiercer will be riding a Waverider in the ocean as you charge up to activate the mighty Surfpiercer’s Surge. The Reminiscent Regimen challenge has three themes: Convoy, Raid, and Abseil, with a reward if you complete each one. Both of these challenges will allow players to play single-player or co-op.
Along with Kazuha, a new 4-star sword has been revealed in the 2.8 Beta files. There isn’t much information available for this weapon, but it is rumoured on Twitter to deal 180 percent AoE DMG and increase ATK for eight seconds. Any of the sword’s attacks will summon the Hewing Gale, which can be used once every eight seconds.
Rumors of Diluc and Fischl Skins have been around since the beginning of the year, and now they may be finally making their appearance in Genshin Impact Version 2.8. A Reddit user has claimed that there will be special effects provided with the Diluc skin. The Fischl skin is also presumed to be awarded in the A Summer Sea Sojourn event as mentioned on Twitter, but nothing is concrete at the moment.
