The 2.7 Special Program was first announced on the official Genshin Impact Twitter account in Japan. The 2.7 live stream will take place on May 20 (Friday) at 9:00 p.m. JST, according to their announcement. The following are time conversions for other parts of the world:

  • IST– May 20, 2022 at 05.30 pm
  • Pacific Time– May 20, 2022 at 05.00 am
  • UTC– May 20, 2022 at 12.00 pm
  • Singapore– May 20, 2022 at 08.00 am

It is worth noting that the live stream will take place on Genshin Impact’s official Twitch channel during these times. Within four hours, the entire programme will be streamed and uploaded to YouTube. Surprisingly, Arataki Itto, Yelan, and Xiao appear in the official art for the 2.7 live stream on the Japanese announcement. This could be a foreshadowing of upcoming banners and content.

The 2.7 Special Program, as expected, will reveal the banners that will be included in the update. According to leaks, Yelan’s banner will be released with the first half on May 31, 2022, followed by Kuki Shinobu in the second phase. In terms of rerun banners, we shouldn’t be surprised to see Xiao and Arataki Itto return. The former is a five-star Anemo Polearm user, while the latter is a five-star Geo Claymore user.

Furthermore, Xiao and Itto will play significant roles in the upcoming 2.7 storyline. Furthermore, the Arataki gang’s leader is closely associated with Kuki Shinobu, so it makes perfect sense for the developers to release them under the same banner. Fans of Kazuha, on the other hand, may be disappointed if his rerun banner isn’t mentioned in the 2.7 Special Program. The five-star Anemo Sword user is clearly one of the game’s best characters, and his rerun banner hasn’t appeared in a long time.
