The delay in Genshin Impact 2.7 has many players wondering if a new character will appear to fill the banner gap. Unfortunately for those hoping for reruns of fan-favorite characters like Klee or Yoimiya, current leaks indicate that there are no plans for any additional rerun banners. Many may be surprised by this, as the delay is currently indefinite, and many in the community expected a rerun to appear once Ayaka’s banner expired. Instead, it appears that Ayaka’s banner will be extended until the delay is resolved. Players can learn more about these leaks by visiting this page.

Genshin Impact leaks claim there won’t be any filler banners during delay

According to several inside sources, there will be no rerun banners in Genshin Impact 2.6 during the downtime between updates. This means that players won’t be able to look forward to filler banners featuring previous 5-star characters, or even a banner with the chance to get a character from the standard 5-star characters. Many had hoped for the possibility of these banners appearing, but leaks appear to indicate otherwise.

With the announcement of Phase 3 of the 2.6 update, players learned about the new events that will take place in the coming weeks. They also discovered that Ayaka Kamisato’s banner would remain up indefinitely until the 2.7 update was released. Currently, it shows that her banner will last approximately 200 days, which is an incredible amount of time.

Fortunately, this is just a placeholder number, and fans can still expect a new banner to appear later this year, once the update is released. Players will also be entitled to compensation in the form of many of the game’s most valuable resources, including a large number of Primogems.
