Genshin Impact 2.6’s new area comes with a lot of puzzles and secrets for players to find as The Chasm is a massive area filled with quests and treasures. Players can find several quests in the strangest places, while others come from beloved NPCs.
It is a time-gated mission that takes many days to complete but offers excellent rewards for only a little work. Players will surely like to complete the Valor’s Afterglow quest as it wraps up Zhiqiong’s storyline in this update, alongside offering a lot of Primogems.
Players can find the Valor’s Afterglow quest in The Chasm, and it will take players around 3 days to finish it as it’s a time-gated nature. The quest provides a good amount of Primogems for a small amount of work. Players can begin this quest by speaking to Zhiqiong after finishing The Chasm Delvers, and she can be found near the base camp in The Glowing Narrows.
Zhiqiong will inform players that she is trying to gather new data about The Chasm. She will request players to place several measuring beacons throughout the Glowing Narrows.

This is a simple task as each beacon is marked on the map and even has glowing areas where players will need to place them. All players need to do is head to each quest area and place down the beacons to finish this portion of the quest.
After players place her beacons, they can return to Zhiqiong to finish the first part of this quest and gain 30 Primogems. She will tell players to return the next day once the beacons have collected their data.
To continue the quest, players will have to speak to Jinwu who is just a few feet away in the same base camp. She will tell players that Zhiqiong has gone missing. She will take players with locating the missing explorer and send them on their way. Finding Zhiqiong can be time-consuming if they check each beacon location, but there is a quick trick to finishing this part of the quest.
Zhiqiong can be found at the beacon site. After taking down these foes, players can talk to her to bring her back to the base camp and reunite her with Jinwu. This portion of the quest will give players 30 Primogems.
On the final day, players will have to go back to the base camp in The Glowing Narrows one last time to speak to Jinwu. She will tell players that Zhigiong has left on her own once more and that players should go speak to Muning to find out more. Players can find Muning near the Glaze Peak teleport waypoint, and once players discuss Zhiqiong with him the quest will be finished and players will earn another 30 Primogems.
