With the 1.5 update, Genshin Impact players were introduced to a new housing system known as the Serenitea Pot. Within this kettle lies a huge, open realm where players can design their own homes. And the exciting part about getting to customize something is the ability to share it with friends.

If games such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft have proven something, it’s that players can be very creative given the chance. With the Serenitea Pot, Genshin Impact players can craft items from different blueprints they collect.

These items are buildings, furniture, trees, and even animals. The numerous possibilities open players up to several ways to make their homes unique.

How To Get The Serenitea Pot

Once players complete a new quest and meet the newest pyro character, Yanfei, they can access their Serenitea Pots from the inventory. After players unlock them, they can visit home by sending a request to enter their Serenitea Pot.

The process is pretty easy. If a player wishes to visit a friend’s Serenitea Pot realm, they first need to open their friend list and locate the friend. Once found, click on the friend’s avatar on their profile. Then, using the drop-down menu, players need to find and click on the “Request to visit Serenitea Pot” option.

Once the request is sent, it will be up to the receiving friend to either accept it or decline the request. If they accept, then the player will be transported into their Serenitea Pot.

How to Accept & Decline Requests

Players don’t need to be currently inside their own Serenitea Pots for their friends to pay them a visit. Players can also preset their realms to automatically accept or decline requests to join their Serenitea Pots.
