Although Genshin Impact 2.3 is still a long way off (the 2.2 update was only recently released), it appears that fans of Arataki Itto and Gorou will not have to wait long for the announcement of their release date.

The two appear to have a lot of potential to shake up the Geo element meta, and fans won’t want to miss out when they come out. The release dates for Gorou and Itto may be found here.
Arataki Itto and Gorou are expected to appear on the second banner of Genshin Impact 2.3, according to a leak by trusted leaker Lumie. Because Genshin Impact 2.2 was just recently launched, there is still a long way to go from the current Childe banner to the Itto banner, but thanks to Genshin’s consistent timetable, Itto will be released on December 14.
This banner will appear in the second half of the 2.3 update, most likely during a storey involving the mighty Oni King.
Itto’s gameplay information was promptly leaked after his formal announcement, and you can find it here. Fans will have to wait for animations and a clearer look at his skills, but his numbers, constellations, and other information are all available for viewing now.
Fans can find the same for Gorou, making this a banner with a wealth of information available ahead of time. These two great Geo characters work extremely well together, and aficionados of the element will not want to miss out on either of them.
At least on its second banner, Genshin Impact 2.3 appears to feature a superb cast of characters. The first banner has not yet been confirmed, but fans can check back here for updates. The release date for Genshin Impact 2.3 is set for November 24, giving fans plenty of time to save up for these new characters.
Fans already know a lot about Gorou and Itto’s powers and kits thanks to some major leaks from Genshin Impact 2.3, making it feasible to create teams for these characters ahead of time. Gorou appears to be an excellent match for any character who focuses on defence. Given that he will be appearing alongside Arataki Itto during 2.3’s second banner, they appear to be an ideal team.
Gorou’s skills increase the team’s Defense stat as well as their Geo damage, allowing them to deal massive amounts of damage when teamed with Itto. Itto’s passives and Elemental Burst turn his defence into damage, and having more of the stat simply means he’ll be able to demolish his opponents with ease. Gorou also has some additional bonuses, such as better shielding thanks to his Elemental Burst, making him an excellent pick for Itto’s support in Genshin Impact 2.3.
The elemental resonance feature in Genshin Impact will provide tremendous extra bonuses to both Itto and Gorou if they are linked together. When two Geo characters are on the same team, they acquire the Geo Resonance benefit, which has the following effects:

Each Geo party member will gain more bonuses from his War Banner thanks to Gorou’s Elemental Skill. He will provide extra defence with one new member, which is already powerful for Itto, but he will grant extra Geo DMG boost with three additional members. This is a fantastic buff that allows Gorou to dominate opponents in Genshin Impact by enhancing the power of his allies and bestowing a slew of perks on them.
It’s no coincidence that Gorou and Itto will be released under the same brand, as the two characters appear to be designed for each other. Pulling Gorou can help pretty much any Geo character, thus it’s definitely worth it.
