The AnimeFesta anime adaptation of Re: Game mimu’s World Reincarnation Sex on the First Night (Tensei Shoya Kara Musabori Etchi: ji no Honmei WA Akuyakureij) manga was announced by Ascendent Animation on Friday. It is titled Game World Reincarnation (ji no Honmei WA Akuyakureij, or literally The Prince’s Favorite is the Villainess). Together with the Japanese business WWWave Corporation, Ascendent Animation will create an English dub. The English dub is being directed by Michaela Laws. The audio engineering and mixing are under the direction of Steve Warky Nunez. The localization supervisor is Kevin Frane. In his capacity as executive producer, K. Cornell Kellum. January 2022 saw the debut of the eight-episode anime. Around eight minutes are spent on each episode. The “premium version,” which was more explicit, made its pre-release premiere in December 2021 on the AnimeFesta service. The “on-air version” debuted on Tokyo MX and BS11 first.

Suiseisha did not specify a different cast for the on-air and premium versions of the show, in contrast to many of the past Comic-Festa Anime ventures.
The series was directed by Kishizuki at Studio Hkiboshi (Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman-). The script was written by Eeyo Kurosaki (Overflow). The character creator and animation director were Shinichi Yoshikawa (The Titan’s Bride). Studio Mouse was the target of the sound guided by Hiroki Nishiyama (Cells at Work! Code Black).
The plot centres on a woman who works in an office and gets reborn as Diana, the villain, from her favourite otome game Hoshifuru Koi no Astrolabe. Even though he is meant to be in love with Diana, Prince Sirius becomes close to her. She seduces him because she thinks the prince won’t like her impure nature, hoping to stop the unhappy conclusion that would otherwise destroy the world. She tries to avoid it, but she manages to win the prince’s heart.
The manga, which was first published by Re: mimu in 2020, is now being made available in English through the Coolmic service under the title Game World Reincarnation Sex on the First Night. The manga’s second collected book volume, titled “ji no Honmei WA Akuyakureij,” was released on April 18 in Japan by the Clair TL Comics label Suiseisha.
The anime programming block known as AnimeFesta launched in April 2017 and has undergone multiple rebrandings. The majority of anime shows are available in two different formats: an uncensored “premium” version that is sold online and a “broadcast” version that is censored and broadcast on TV. The programming block is operated by WWWave Corporation, which also makes a lot of the anime available in English on its Coolmic website.
