In addition to organising tournaments, HER Galaxy offers interested gamers networking and educational opportunities. A Rocket League LAN tournament will be held in September as part of the tournament series, which is scheduled to begin in March. There will be two games with a combined prize pool of $250,000 over the course of the eight broadcast days, though the company did not specify how the winnings would be split. Both games will have open qualifiers, and any interested players may apply.

The main objective of the competition, according to Galaxy Racer, is to encourage amateur gamers to learn more about the competitive scene and combat bullying and isolation among gamers.”Gaming is still in its infancy relative to other sports, and we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of gaming culture by putting more support behind initiatives for gamers who identify as women,” said Megan Holgate, VP of Partnerships at Galaxy Racer.
