GosuGamers and Fulcrum Esports Partner to Promote Gaming and Esports in the Philippines. Fulcrum Esports and GosuGamers just inked a partnership deal to advance esports and grassroots gaming in the Philippines. One of the fastest growing industries in the nation, where the median age is 25.7, which is considered quite young, is the gaming and esports sector. According to a release, the event will provide more exposure and experience to players and teams to help them get discovered by bigger organisations.GosuBattles, an eSports event platform developed by GosuGamers, will first launch in the Philippines to develop local tournament organizers and players. This platform will not only develop the capabilities of the organizers but also increase the skill level of the players and teams through exposure to more tournaments and organized sports.

In addition to announcing the collaboration, GoSuGamers will also launch its eSports event platform, GoSubBattles, in the Philippines. The platform exposes players to more tournaments and professional structures as well as developing capabilities for the organizers. Established in 2019, Fulcrum Esports is a subsidiary of the horse racing organization Philippine Racing Club Inc. The company organizes grassroots events in the country and owns a local gaming cafe.

“We are more than happy to support Fulcrum Esports in developing the gaming scene in the Philippines and raising the next generation of gamers. But most importantly, we want to create careers through education for all gamers in the Philippines.” The partnership with GoSuGamers will develop community-level gaming and organize tournaments and events across the country to enhance the gaming experience. These events will give more exposure and experience to players and teams that are sought after by larger teams and organizations.

Both sides have revealed that there are also ambitions to develop workshops and educational materials that will utilize the expertise of both companies. As such, GosuGamers and Fulcrum Esports aim to launch an initial program targeting educational institutions and local government units in 2023. In the announcement, both the brands revealed that the programs will not only educate gamers, but parents as well.

One of GosuGamers’ visions is to foster the growth of existing e-sports communities by providing many opportunities to compete and learn, and this partnership with Fulcrum is the perfect fit for a healthy and sustainable e-sports future for those living in the Philippines. There will be a beginning. Ultimately, GoSuGamers and Fulcrum Esports will develop workshops and educational materials that leverage the expertise of both organizations.

The Philippines also made headlines earlier this year when it was revealed that the country would host the M5 World Championship, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s biggest international competition. According to Esports Charts, the M4 World Championship achieved 4.2m peak viewers.
