January 2022 will be a big month for Fortnite players as Epic Games has a big update in store for Chapter 3 Season 1 that will introduce many new features to the game. The new mi-season update will bring new mechanics and other additions. As leaks suggest, we have listed down the new things that we can see added in the game in January 2022.

No Build Mode

One of the most anticipated features coming to Fortnite is the No Build Mode. The game developers will be adding a brand new limited-time mode that will take away the building mechanics, enabling players to experience a more traditional battler royale gameplay. This mode will make players play the game with a different approach and plan their actions carefully.

Butter Cake

Dinosaurs are now coming to Fortnite and the first one will be Butter Cake. According to HYPEX, the dino will arrive to the game with the same update as the new POI. This means that the dinosaur will arrive to Fortnite on January 18. The dinosaur was previously showcased in a Boba Fet teaser and players are very excited to see the adorable dinosaur.

Tilted Towers POI

Tilted Towers POI is also making a comeback to the game on January 18. This POI will appear in Fortnite when Stage 6 of ice melting starts. The POI is covered under a thick sheet of snow since the season began and players will finally get to drop on the POI soon.

IO Troops and Cave POI

IO and Dr. Slone could also make a comeback in Chapter 3 Season 1. The leaks suggest that IO troops will appear on the island after the 19.10 update and players will also get a new POI named “Cave.” While there is not much known about the new POI, many leakers suggest that this could be the new Grotto 2.0 location.
