Midas is making a return to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. Ever since he died in a previous season, the fans were eagerly waiting for his return. Every succeeding season, there were speculations that the fan-favorite character will make a comeback.
Recently, data miners found out that Epic Games has re-added some props from Midas’s room to Fortnite. The only possible explanation for this could be the return of the character in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. If leaks are to be believed, Midas’ Room will come back as a POI in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, along with the popular character himself.
In Chapter 2 Season 4, Midas met a tragic accident when he was eaten by a shark. However, with The Foundation disappearing into the ocean and coming out on the Flip Side, it looks like Midas has also managed to make an escape.
Midas was never shown as dead even after the accident. It was surprising for many to see a character like Midas die so, unfortunately. But theories started pouring in that the shark did not kill him, but carried him over to the Flip Side.

In the last few seasons, Epic Games has dropped clues that hint at the return of Midas. It seems like all those things were intended as a build-up for the return of the Golden Kind to the game in Chapter 3.
The latest leaks of the return come from the files of Fortnite. Several props from Midas’ room such as a book stack, lectern, rug, and a bookshelf have been re-added to the files.
The Foundation recruits Midas
The return of the character in the new season is not just because of its popularity. Midas knows almost everything there is to know about the island and the Zero Point. If the character arrived on the Flip Side in Chapter 2 Season 4, he might be working with The Seven to hatch a plan.
