On Fortnite servers, the brand-new Ranked mode has officially debuted, ushering in a new era of competitive play that is vastly different from the now-defunct Arena playlist. Players can now advance through two different ranks: one for Zero Build and one for Battle Royale. Competitive Fortnite players will be able to play Solos, Duos, or Squads in Battle Royale, or Duos in Zero Build, starting on May 17, 2023, when Ranked launches.

Players can rank up all the way from Bronze to Unreal after receiving a starting rank during season zero, with Unreal players claiming spots on a global leaderboard. More tournaments will become available as you advance in rank. You can sign up for different tournaments and view their rank requirements on the Compete page. In Fortnite, ranked rewards are obtained by successfully completing Ranked Urgent Quests, which are given to players when they board the Battle Bus during a ranked match.   • Quad Squad spray (complete 50 Ranked Urgent Quests)
  • Burn Bright emote (unlock all previous Ranked rewards)
