Executioner Clash Royale: How to unlock the character?

Clash Royale is a multiplayer online strategy game where players take on each other in real-time with the help of character cards. As of now, there are 106 cards in total, with five rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Champion, and Legendary.

Players can use these cards to form battle decks. To design a successful deck, players must have a thorough understanding of the cards. Here, we will be talking about Executioner, one of the most powerful Epic cards in the game.

How to unlock Executioner?

At Arena 14, players can get this card. His long-range troops can cause area damage with high hitpoints and damage values. The character swings his boomerang in a straight line that flies back after reaching maximum range, causing damage on both blows and piercing all enemies that come in the way.

The in-game description of the Executioner reads: “He throws his axe like a boomerang, striking all enemies on the way out AND back. It’s a miracle he doesn’t lose an arm.”

The character’s range, ability to take on air troops, and area damage make him an ideal support troop for the cards with large hitpoints like Witches, Pekkas, and Golems. This card is effective against cards such as Skeleton Army, Minions Horde, and others because of his spell resistance ability and high damage to each swing.

Executioner stats

The boomerang range of Executioner enables him to damage a tank like the Golem, and also support soldiers behind the tank if placed correctly. The stats for the card are:

• Executioner card can be unlocked at Arena 14 through treasure chests.
• Players will have to spend 5 Elixir as the cost of training an Executioner.
• The Executioner card can be upgraded to Level 14 at max where it will have 1696 HP and area damage of 448.
• Executioner card has a range of 4.5 tiles and the boomerang further covers a range of 6.5 tiles.
• It has a hit speed of 2.4 seconds, deployment time of 1 second and attacks both air and ground troops.
• As for damage per second, it is 186, making it one of the highest DPS troops in the game.
