According to EG himself, former 100 Thieves top laners Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho and AD carry Victor “FBI” Huang are joining the squad for 2023.If you need more information about Evil Geniuses Lcs roster then read carefully and share with your friends.

Coming into the latest League off-season, EG didn’t have huge question marks when it came to roster construction. The 2022 LCS Spring Split champions already had star mid-laner Jojopyune, All-Pro support Vulcan, and MVP Inspired under contract for the foreseeable future. Add to that the fact that all three of those players performed well in 2022, helping the team clinch the LCS title, reaching the MSI semi-finals, and participating in home-run Worlds, and Evil Geniuses have the lead for the upcoming LCS split. There was a solid foundation.

One big question mark hanging over EG was at the AD carry position. The Star bot laner Danny missed much of the 2022 LCS Summer Playoffs in tournaments and EG’s Worlds run with due to mental health issues and with body pain issues . As November 21st and the start of free agency approached, no one knew if Danny was expected to return in 2023. With Danny’s future uncertain and Kaori heading back to Europe with Carmine Corp, Eiji had a void in the bot lane. Then, about a week before the start of free agency, and the reports suggested that Evil Geniuses may find its future AD-carry in North America.

Those reports were validated today when former 100 Thieves bot Lennar FBI officially joined Evil Geniuses for next season. This move makes complete sense on paper. FBI moves from one top LCS team to another, Evil Geniuses nabs a third team all-pro bot laner, and 100 Thieves may now bring Doublelift to 2023.

One of the more shocking moves from EG’s off season comes in the top lane. Impact was not only the longest tenured member of Evil Geniuses at the time, but also one of the best top laners in North America in 2022. For whatever reason, EG decided to make a switch, and initially went after academy prospect Tenacity before being blocked by 100T. Not being able to grab 100 Thieves Academy’s top laner, EG was able to switch out Impact for the early 100T top laner, Ssumday.

Impact is reportedly headed to FlyQuest—who are building quite an interesting roster—and Ssumdayis now officially set to debut in Topside for EG. Regardless of what fans take, the fact remains that EG has essentially made an LCS All-Pro team. Each member of their starting five finished last split on the All-Pro team for the 2023 season. What’s even more insane, despite losing Danny, the squad still consists of four first team players thanks to Ssumday. FBI is the only non-first-teamer to finish as the third-best ADC in the LCS, behind Danny and Cloud9’s Berserker.

With the free agent window officially open, it’s time for teams across all regions of professional leagues to begin locking down their rosters for 2023. Only two teams in the LCS so far, Golden Guardians and EG, are scheduled for the next split, so expect a ton more announcements from NA teams as 2022 draws to a close.
