The Kurki daggers are said to be consumable items in Elden Ring, even though players can use them as weapons. These throwing daggers can be a great addition to any stealth-based or assassination-style build. They inflict blood loss if players use enough of them for the buildup. Players can find many throughout the game.

Where to obtain Kukri throwing daggers

These Kukri throwing daggers aren’t categorized as armament in the game, meaning they cannot be upgraded with the help of Ash of War or any Smithing Stones. Rather, they are consumables that players can throw at enemies to deal much damage.

That is made well-known by the daggers’ in-game description:

“A large knife used for throwing. Its curved blade is sharp enough to slice flesh cleanly. Throw at enemies to inflict damage and build up onset of blood loss. This heavy throwing weapon is unsuitable for swift attacks, but is able to inflict heavy damage.”

In Elden Ring, players can find the Kukri throwing daggers at five places. Some of them are static encounters, while some allow for farming and collecting multiple stacks of the item.

Here are the locations:

  • Players can buy it for 60 Runes each from the Nomadic Merchant.
  • Players can loot 6 Kukri throwing daggers off of a corpse behind the Glinstone Dragon Smarag.
  • Players can find one dagger on the roof above the Commoner who gives the Grace mimic.
  • There is a Kukri dagger near a fire to the northeast of the Church of Elleh.
  • 5 Kukri throwing daggers drop from defeated Vulgar Militiamen located at the Miners’ Caves alongside those on the path between the Grand Lift of Rold and the Forbidden Lands.

Players should note that after obtaining and using them the daggers scale with Strength and Dexterity. The higher those two stats are, the more dangerous the weapon will become.
