Elden Ring has a long list of weapons with special effects. How to get the Gargoyle’s Black Halberd?

Elden Ring has several bosses, only a few of whom need to be taken down to complete the main storyline. Though they aren’t essential, every boss has some special details that make it worth facing them.

To earn the Gargoyle’s Black Halberd, players should defeat the Black Blade Kindred. He is an optional boss who players can found in Dragonbarrow. He can be found sitting in front of the gate which is the entrance to the Bestial Sanctum. Players should defeat him and earn his distinctive weapon.

The boss has around 12,500 HP but isn’t the deadliest foe in Elden Ring, but he could be a substantial threat. There are a few cheap strategies players have found to make taking him down easy.

Long-range players can take pot-shots and run to weaken him. They can also attack and run into the Beastial Sanctum. Players should hide behind Gurranq Beast Clergyman and the Kindred will forget their presence.

Players will get the Gargoyle’s Black Halberd after defeating this Black Bade Kindred. Players will also get 88,000 Runes and the Gargoyle’s Blackblade.

How to use the Gargoyle’s Black Halberd?

  • There are some builds that turn it into a very dangerous tool.
  • This halberd needs 26 Strength, 10 Dexterity, and 22 Faith in order to wield it effectively.
  • The halberd has the Spinning Slash skill, which comes attached to several tools. While it deals a fair amount of damage and hits in a wide arc, players were hoping for more from this weapon.
  • The weapon is best paired with the Golden Halberd. Dual-wielding takes high stats but destroys life bars swiftly.
