Race to World First is a World of Warcraft event that occurs when a new raid becomes available in the game. Major guilds regularly host events that can last several days, in an effort to become the first guild in the world to eliminate all raid bosses.The events are particularly challenging as the player is facing the raid boss for the first time, so strategy is often developed on the go.

Echo is one of the most notable WoW guilds in esports history, and the winner of the last two Race to the World First events. The final event, Red Sepulchre of the First Ones, took 18 days to finish, and Echo won the challenge by defeating Red’s final boss, The Jailer, on the 277th attempt.Echo Esports will host 13 players, eight cast members and seven staff members on-site at the Eruption Lounge in Bern, Switzerland for the duration of the event. The event will be supported by Big Dumb Golden Guardians and will be streamed 24 hours a day on Echo’s channels.

The RWF is a highly competitive event, which is evident from the participants involved. Another well-known WoW organization, Team Liquid, recently announced partners for their foray into World First through their MMO-focused vertical Liquid Guild.These include Coinbase, Kingston Technology, Monster Energy and others.Echo was founded ahead of the most recent Race to World First following the roster’s departure from the eSports organization and raiding guild Method.

Since then, the company has grown to include 10 staff members who are not part of the raiding team, including five full-time employees. Many of its players are former race champions under the method, and the organization took second place in the last race.
