Electronic Arts seems to have finalized a deal with Marvel to produce three games that will witness its popular characters including the iconic Iron Man as the protagonist. Marvel and the gaming behemoth Electronic Arts have come together to create some triple-A titles featuring iconic comic characters of the Marvel universe.

The collaboration of the two companies will start off with EA’s Iron Man game which is under development with Motive Studio at the helm, the studio behind the Dead Space remake. Moreover, it seems that EA will also be producing at least two more action-adventure games that will feature other Marvel comic characters.

EA and Marvel team up for action games

EA confirmed the news recently via an official announcement. During the reveal, EA COO Laura Miele shared excitement over the collaboration and praised Marvel.

“We look forward to welcoming Marvel into the EA family of creators and know this collaboration will produce exceptional experiences for our players. We can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they suit up as Iron Man and do the extraordinary things this Super Hero is known for.”

Currently, the only game out of the promised three titles to be in development is Iron Man. With Motive Studio already being confirmed as the studio to develop the Iron Man title, it might be long before we come across more details about the upcoming title and when it will hit the shelves.
