When you type your 1st word and a box turns grey, it means that that letter is not part of the word of the day. If any of the boxes turn yellow, then it means that that letter is part of the word but not in the right place and finally if any box turns green, it means that the letter is in it’s right place.
Handy tip … there’s no harm in using a dictionary, as there could be guesswork involved sometimes, because not everyone knows every word in the dictionary… right?
