COD Warzone Mobile: Expected release date, rumors, and speculations

Activision will be rolling out the new Caldera with Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard season 1. The company is also expected to soon roll out COD Warzone Mobile for Android and iOS platforms.

While reports and leaks are pouring in at an alarming rate, the company is yet to officially confirm Warzone Mobile. Tipster Tom Henderson has stated that Activision is looking to launch Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile in 2022.

Warzone Mobile on the horizon

He also stated that the game has been spotted in the PlaytestCloud database. However, PlaytestCloud responded by saying that the listing was based on an assumption. Another tipster, who goes by the name Just4leaks2, seems to have found a job listing for the title of Executive Producer, Features for a project codenamed WZM.

The codename WZM is said to be an abbreviation for Warzone Mobile. The job description says the person will work on the gaming experience of a new AA mobile FPS title. Moreover, Activision recently acquired The Respawnables developed Digital Legends to help develop a new COD Mobile title.

It will be interesting to see how the company launches Warzone Mobile, considering that Activision already has Call of Duty: Mobile, which already features a battle royale mode. While Activision rolls out new iterations of its Call of Duty game on PC and console frequently, they also bring along a new story and new dynamics.

Considering this, we can expect some changes in dynamics will be made to Warzone Mobile, which could introduce a first-person perspective. To recall, Krafton also recently rolled out PUBG: New State, which is a sequel to the popular game PUBG Mobile.
