Some significant leaks about Call of Duty Warzone 2 have surfaced, indicating massive updates about the new map and locations. While the original version of the game remains popular, fans are more excited about the new iteration of the popular battle royale. After nearly two years, the developers have admitted that the game is bloated and that players require a new segment to begin again. So far, few details about the upcoming title are known, and nothing has been confirmed by the developers as of today. Several sources, however, claim detailed information about Warzone 2. But everything is subject to change, fans are ecstatic about the leaks that have been circulating.
A video created recently by the content creator NerosCinema revealed many details about the upcoming title. Tom Henderson (a popular leaker in the community whose reports have so far been accurate) independently verified with his sources and posted some major game details in his Exputer report. Previously, the aforementioned leaker claimed that some of the original Modern Warfare 2 maps would be returning in the upcoming MW 2. (2022). However, as the recent leak suggests, the maps will not only be included in the multiplayer mode of MW 2, but will also be added to and expanded upon within the Warzone 2 map.

Fans can expect the developers to take assets from Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) multiplayer maps and create the fan favourite Verdansk in Warzone 2. All of these maps will inevitably be remastered versions of their previous selves, with new POI names added by Infinity Ward. Although nothing has been confirmed, here are all of the maps that are rumoured to be included in the upcoming iteration.
Sniper Heaven from Modern Warfare 2 will most likely return under the new POI name “Modern City.” Large skyscrapers and tall buildings can be found in this area of the map, and the POI is located at the top right corner.
This map will most likely be laid out similarly to Verdansk’s Quarry. According to reports, the POI name will remain unchanged. This section of the map will be in the upper left corner.
This is yet another popular MW 2 map that may appear in the upcoming MW 2 and Warzone 2. The map will be in the bottom right corner, labelled “Airport.” This is also rumoured to be one of three “strongholds” in the game.

Favela from MW2 could also be included in the battle royale as “Mountain Town.” So far, nothing has been confirmed. However, as trusted leaks indicate, fans can expect to see their old MW 2 maps make a comeback in the upcoming Warzone iteration.
