As always, your own mileage may differ. Individually, the ESRB recently given Warzone Caldera a rating–M for Mature–for the game’s re-launch this week. The original Warzone has came back with a fresh name and pretty much less features. Activision grabbed Warzone down on November 16, the day that Warzone 2.0 was launched, and kept the game offline for a period of 12 days. The maker said this suspension was to assure the fresh game, Warzone 2.0, had a steady release and to give its employees some free time for Thanksgiving.

In Warzone Caldera, all advancement, battle pass content, and buys will only be available in that game. None of what’s in Warzone 2.0 will be assisted in the original game. Also, any double XP tokens gamers have for the original Warzone won’t carry ahead, nor will any battle passes or store bundles. Besides, Activision ensured that Warzone Caldera will not have an in-game shop, but any COD Points gamers have will transport to Warzone 2.0.

If we talk about gameplay, Activision stated there will be a “standard battle royale playlist,” but Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep are eliminated. Activision shared gamers who are fans of smaller-scale battle royale maps will have something to look forward to in Warzone 2.0.

It seems Activision is effectively reducing the original Warzone as a purposeful action to motivate people to play Warzone 2.0 and consume money in its own shop. Warzone 2.0 got off to a quick beginning, reaching 25 million gamers in less than a week.
