The Season 2 update is ready to be one of the hugest updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 since its launched. It is coming a wealth of recent content and have to the game. It will be releasing on February 15th and will add the come back of the much-admired Hardcore mode, along with the new weapons, maps, and operators. Infinity Ward is wishing that this recent update will proceed to involve and maintain gamers who have already indicated an optimistic reaction to the game’s Season 1 update.

A new Twitter post by a player conveying their love for the Infected game mode got a reply from the official Call of Duty account that looks like to be confirmed its inclusion in the forthcoming Season 2 update. The reply, which just noted “We agree. See you Feb 15”, has fueled assumption that this outstanding game mode will be part of the Season 2 update that is ready to release later this month.

The Infected game mode was first released in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and has since become a fan loved. It discerns around 18 gamers randomly generating throughout the map with a weapon with them, while one gamer generates as the infected. The infected gamer’s objective is to contaminate all other gamers by assaulting them prior to the timer runs out. This uncontrollable and worried game mode could include a fresh and thrilling component to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, particularly for gamers who were dishearten to learn that the Gunfight mode won’t be coming back.

Infected gives gamers a modification of pace from the normal Call of Duty multiplayer experience, and the come back of this mode in Season 2 could be a welcome break from the often quick-scoping and airstrikes. If latest rumors are real, the famous Valderas Museum map may also make a comeback, giving gamers tons of fresh spots to protect from the infected. You can now play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
