The Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge (BMOC), along with other official Krafton tournaments, was announced as part of the BGMI esports roadmap in February. BMOC registration was set to begin in late February and run until the start of the in-game qualifications, which were set to begin tomorrow. Registration for the BMOC will begin on Monday, March 14th. In-game qualifying are expected to begin towards the end of the month. Teams will be required to register a six-player squad. To participate in the competition, all enrolling players must be at least 16 years old. A teaser for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Mobile Open Challenge has been released by Krafton. By March 14th, the BMOC registration link should be available on the official BGMI esports website.

There has been a significant amount of change in the number of team members a team could have in their roster. While the least number of players have to be four, the upper limit has increased from five to six. A six man roster can be used in the BMOC 2022 registration and matches.
The BMOC series will be Krafton’s first esports event in 2022, and the publisher just announced four esports competitions in India in 2022, totaling Rs. 6 crore in prize money. Seasons 1 and 2 of the BMPS will each feature a prize pool of Rs. 2 crore, and the tournaments will begin with the BMOC, which is accessible to all eligible users. Last year, Krafton vowed to invest $100 million (approximately Rs. 763 crore) in India to strengthen the country’s gaming, esports, entertainment, and IT industries.
