Previously in Chapter 261

Kaiser gets a tattoo in Chapter 261 teasers, which also feature a rose in a glass case reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast. Following on from the events of the last chapter, Ray Dark, an official from the World Football Association, visits Kaiser in prison after noticing his natural potential. Despite his reservations, Kaiser eventually accepts to join Bastard Munchen’s Youth Clubhouse in the hopes of escaping his violent past.

Meeting other clubhouse members is an important part of Kaiser’s adjustment to his new surroundings. When they offer him food, he has a hard time accepting their kindness and instead feels more at ease being malicious, which leads him to hurl the food and start fighting. But he learns the hard way that soccer is all about collaboration and trains relentlessly to become an integral part of the team. Kaiser has one clear objective: to create a devastating weapon that embodies his very being.

Kaiser watches as two other players run past Ness and cause him to fall to the floor during tryouts. To take advantage of this situation, he taunts Ness and tries to drive him to his breaking point. Kaiser gains insight into the extent to which his animosity affects those around him through these encounters. Spoilers for Blue Lock Chapter 261 show that he is encircled by thorns and rose vines when this happens.

After giving it some thought, Kaiser draws connections between his present-day soccer style and his troubled relationship with his father. Kaiser chooses to accept his new identity as a representation of the impossible, a symbol that rewrites the hopes of others and teaches hopelessness, despite all the anguish he has gone through. While shocking his former colleagues with a tremendous goal, the narrator talks about his aspirations to become the greatest in the world.

Kaiser is getting ready to make a move as the match in the present picks up with Paris X Gen’s ball. Unfortunately, Rin and Isagi aren’t going to let him off the hook, as they swiftly close the gap. From his vantage point in the stands, Coach Nao subsequently instructs Kaiser to confront his ego and advance in his development. Spoilers for Blue Lock Chapter 261 state that Isagi informs Kaiser that the squad is no longer his. Isage orders Kaiser to kneel before him and accuses him of being a clown in the final pages of the novel.
